SUNDAY GROOVE IN GLENBROOK
From 12.30pm to 3.30pm next Sunday 21 March 2010, entertainment will be performed in Glenbrook Park opposite the Park Street shops adjacent to the children’s playground.
Performances will be made by 2 Blue Mountains groups, Blue Mountains Ukulele Group and Kristen Blakers and band.
The Blue Mountains Ukulele Group was formed in 2008 and has grown from strength to strength. The Ukulele never fails to inspire joy and smiles. The Blue Mountains Ukulele Group has been performing at festivals in the Blue Mountains and greater Sydney and has increased in popularity.
Lower Mountains local Kristen Blakers and band will be launching their long awaited debut EP, Clouds. A ‘teaser’ song from the EP has already received community radio airplay across the country. Kristen’s amazing vocals are highlighted throughout the EP, which also features some powerful backing from the band.
Bring your lunch and enjoy a leisurely afternoon of local entertainment in Glenbrook Park Sunday 19 July , 201012.30pm to 3.30pm.
In April, Sunday Groove will be held on Sunday 18 April, 2010 with a return performance by Chris and Lisa Atwood.
